Understand the BatchBase workflow

The core workflow

  1. 1A customer record identifies who the order belongs to.
  2. 2Products or order items define what the customer is purchasing.
  3. 3An order records the transaction and its current status.
  4. 4Production or preparation tracks operational work required to complete the order.
  5. 5Fulfillment records the final handoff, pickup, delivery, or completion stage.

Why statuses matter

Statuses help your team understand where work currently sits. Keep statuses current so another user can open BatchBase and determine what requires attention without relying on outside notes or memory.
