Product information

Product records should contain enough information for users to confidently select the correct item while building an order.

  • Clear product name.
  • Relevant pricing information.
  • Availability or active state.
  • Any operational information needed by your team.

Keep the product list usable

Avoid creating multiple active products that represent the same item unless there is a clear business reason. A clean product list reduces mistakes during order entry.
