Troubleshoot common issues

A consistent process for identifying BatchBase problems before escalating to support.

Troubleshoot common issues

Start with the exact problem

  1. 1Identify the page or feature where the issue occurs.
  2. 2Write down what you expected to happen.
  3. 3Record what actually happened.
  4. 4Refresh the page and confirm whether the problem repeats.
  5. 5Check whether another user sees the same behavior.
  6. 6Capture the exact error message if one appears.

Before changing data

Do not create duplicate customers, products, or orders solely to work around a problem. First determine whether the original record can be corrected.

Escalate with context

If the issue continues, send support enough context to reproduce it. Include the workspace, page, record involved, steps you took, expected result, actual result, and approximate time.
